About Sciortino's BakeryPeter Sciortino's Bakery was established in 1948 by Peter C. and Grace Sciortino. In 1997 the bakery was sold to current owner and operators Giuseppe, Maria and Luigi Vella. The Vella's grew up working for the Sciortino family prior to ownership. Their passion for baking and business has been a strong force behind the continued success of the bakery. Over the years the Vellas have added new products to the already famous bread, rolls and cookies. Over the most recent three years they have expanded into the production of Authentic Italian gelato, wedding and special occasion cakes. We bake fresh daily on the premises. Our breads and rolls can be found throughout the metro Milwaukee area, either at a restaurant or local grocery store. As our business continues to grow, we find ourselves in need of more space. Sciortino's is a staple on Brady Street, so when considering expansion, we wanted to stay on this corner. It wasn't until recently that this dream of expansion has become a reality. Peter Sciortino's Bakery is here to stay for many more future generations to enjoy.
